1. Sleep

This tip will save you so much money, time and ultimately, your mental and physcial health.  We have evolved to sleep and we need to sleep to allow our systems to carry out essential repairs and clean cleaning each night. Don’t let a sleep deficit build up. The less quality sleep you get, the weaker your immune system will become and your body won’t be able to make good repairs to your skin, so over time your skin will prematurely age in a way that cannot be corrected by an aesthetic doctor.

2. Good oral care.

There are over 6 million bacteria in your mouth including 700 different species

Add to that the residue from all of the food you consume during the day and you have yourself a recipe for bad skin and even worse health

3. Drink that water

60% water of our body is water, but vital organs such as your kidneys, heart and lungs are up to 85% water.

Keep your body machine working well with water. Fruit juice, soft drinks and coffee don’t count.

Only still clean, filtered, Sprin or mineral water, or herbal teas count.

Aim for a litre or more. The purer the better, but if you don’t have a filter, tap water will do just fine

4. Wholefoods

Try to eat wholefood and maintain a balanced diet, eating from all of the food groups.

Try not to rely on take outs or processed food. Take a supplement when you’re lacking.

Don't get lured in by fads, trends and celebrity-led rapid fat shredding claims. Being a healthy weight for your frame and muscle type is as a result of good health.

Fluctuations are normal, especially for women. But if you're under or over by some way, look at your lifestyle first, not your diet.

        5. Go out in nature.

Humans evolved to be outdoors. Getting a minimum of an hour of fresh air everyday will help with Vitamin D production, and help keep your eyes and skin healthy.

Most importantly, it is essential to get exposure to early morning light, as this helps reset and synchronise our natural circadian rhythms every day.

Get out and about in first light everyday and you'll find your sleep is better and you'll wake up more refershed and energised.

The light frequencies in morning light help to recalibrate our brain, so get yourself out for a 20 minute walk each morning, no matter what.

Bonus

Have gratitude

Be gentle with yourself and others.

Have gratitude for what you have and make a plan for the future.

Comparing yourself to others and thinking bad of others creates toxicity in the body that will lead to a prematurely aged skin.
